Job description

SUMMARY:
The Account Executive will be responsible for growing the bridal wholesale business through relationship building, client management and execution of trunk shows. She or he will manage specialty store and department store accounts and work closely with the VP of Business Development to execute department strategy and to achieve sales, market share and profitability goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
•Manages all aspects of bridal account needs, working independently and in conjunction with internal teams
•Ensure timely receipt of order confirmations and track monthly shipments
•Preparation of weekly selling reports
•Travel up to 3 weekends a month for in store trunk shows and training seminars
•Present the line to accounts at bridal market twice a year and collect seasonal orders
•Build wholesale business for the division by researching, canvasing for prospective wholesale outlets
•Cold call sales leads to cultivate new relationship opportunities for the bridal division
•Coordinate and oversee sample needs and tracking for trunk shows, press pulls and store appointments
•Responsible for sample inventory management
•Analyze sales and industry trends and communicate opportunities to internal teams
•Maintains and services bridal accounts and their inquiries on a daily basis.
•Daily analysis and reporting on status of deliverables to client, based on production and delivery schedules
•Keeps track of all sales numbers and sell through percentages through Excel and Scheme reporting
•Follow top product sellers with retailers, prepares seasonal merchandising reporting for design
•Liaise with accounting to ensure prompt collection of deposits and payments
•Investigates and resolves customer problems with orders & deliveries

Profile

Skills & Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5 years experience in the bridal apparel/fashion space
  2. Analytical, detail oriented and highly organized. Must be able to adjust to the fast paced dynamic of the industry.
  3. This position requires the candidate to take the initiative to travel and build domestic & international business
  4. Have a large network of industry specific contacts and vendors
  5. Ability to build and create relationships
  6. Capable of understanding complexity, creative problem-solving, and effective brand advocacy
  7. Proven leadership skills and record of successful account management.
  8. Proven track record of sales & business growth.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
