Katsu works with leading brands in the fashion and interiors space including Brooks Brothers, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Everlane, Club Monaco, Weitzner, Knoll, Coach and hundreds others. Our company is entering a new phase where we are working with our Japanese mills and inverter partners to drive rapid sustainability and traceability throughout the textile supply chain.

Job description

-Establish and maintain new and ongoing client and customer relationships

- Increase market share and exceed established sales targets

- Analyze market trends and opportunistically match product to market shifts (e.g. move towards sustainability in textile sourcing)

- Familiarize self and maintain knowledge with product line and services to promote sales

- Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan

- Represent the company at various trade shows , conferences, and distributor events
Communicate with Sales Manager and
Vendors

- Complete timely and accurate reports, including key account activity, sales forecasts, quotes, travel budgets, and expenses

Profile


Qualifications

- Must have 3-5 years of B2B outside sales and account management experience in (non-retail) fashion, apparel, textile, fabric, or any other related industry

- Must be able to travel frequently
- Must be willing to learn and stay up to date with consecutive changes in trends
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher education
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Excel) Salesfore.com, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, and any scripting languages a plus
