Title of Job:Jr. Art Director

Responsibilities:

Responsible for brand preposition and for creative strategy and execution of content design across multiple platforms and media channels

Support the Creative Director to Design/Maintain a flexible visual identity system that speaks to a unified brand image across the full brand landscape

Translate brand identity into visual and written solutions for all departments with collateral that fits brands aesthetics, emotion and voice

Develop strategy/calendar for creative content creation that meets ecommerce, sales, and PR/marketing department needs



Develop and execute creative content concepts that meet strategic, business and branding objectives across multiple channels including website, emails, ads, social media, blogs, and marketing



Responsible for all product and editorial imagery for wholesale use and ecommerce,

including editing, retouching, and layout

Collaborate with Creative Director to ideate campaign concepts for seasonal product

launches



Work with team to oversee campaign and content photo shoots into completion and oversee aspects of post-production I.e. retouching and resizing



Liaise with digital marketing agency on strategy and voice of advertising/marketing

activations



Track budget and invoicing for brand creative endeavors

Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

4+ years of related experience with strong design background including concept

development, art direction, layout, typography and production

Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines. Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

HTML/CSS/muse knowledge a plus

BFA degree or equivalent, preferably in graphic design. Modern, artistic sensibility and

general cultural savviness

Excellent written and communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of typography

Complete hands on approach

Social awareness and excitement to think outside of trends

Highly organized with a tremendous attention to detail
