Job description

Title: North American Retail Marketing Manager

Location: NYC

Responsibilities:

- Build and manage a strong events calendar that is focused on engaging with the local community within the New York area

- Work closely with the boutique retail team to ensure event calendar is fully aligned with and incorporates boutique plans

- Develop and deliver relevant events and promotions with clear success criteria, that support strategy and key business initiatives

- Develop and execute customer events at the New York flagship boutique with a focus on driving new customer acquisition, and re-engaging with existing customers so that they shop with us again

- Support the delivery of trunk shows and other events with retail partners, managing logistics and ensuring relevant, engaging and structured communications

- Develop and manage critical paths and key stakeholders to ensure events remain on track and to brief

- Coordinate the production of a range of marketing materials and literature to support local activity

- Manage the execution of global campaigns across North America, ensuring brand consistency is achieved, whilst optimizing for the local market

- Support the Head of North America and the Senior Global Marketing Manager in building and optimizing processes/ways of working both within the Marketing team and cross-functionally to ensure and drive efficiencies

- Own and manage the North America marketing and events calendars and timelines in line with the global calendar, scheduling activity and results monitoring, revising accordingly as needed

- Work with the Head of North America to maintain the marketing and events budget, ensuring activities and events are within budget and overall costs are controlled

- Analyze and review performance of events and promotions to understand levels of success, providing insightful and costed recommendations for future activity



Requirements:

- 4-6 years’ experience in a marketing and/or retail function

- Strong understanding of online and offline marketing channels, tactics, measurement, and trends

- Strong knowledge of the US market, especially the Tri-State area

- Ability to develop and optimize relationships, interacting and negotiating with partners and suppliers

- Metrics-driven mindset, well-organized, logical and efficient with outstanding project and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to confidently and articulately communicate with senior level management and external partners both verbally and in writing
