-Ensures on-time delivery of all projects
-Works directly with contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
-Negotiates terms with contractors as well as penalties for quality and lateness.
-Negotiates pricing to ensure required margins are met for each project.
-Issues PO’s to cutting and sewing from Apparel Magic.
-Ensures quality of all garments and provides quality assurance before fabric is cut, after fabric is cut, during sewing, printing and before product is shipped and packed.
-Promises to keep all projects on budget and will use approved costing sheets to make purchasing decisions.
-Sets target output for individual sewers to ensure sewing budget is met or is lower than costing sheets allow for.
-Responsible for costing all garments.
-Creates cut tickets providing fabric to sewers and cutters in development
-Responsible for communicating with marking/grading and ensuring markers are completed accurately.
-Responsible for providing sewing team with accurate measurements and quality standards for garment construction.
-Your performance will be measured by the production budget vs your actual spending, and whether or not the product was delivered on time without returns.
-Establish signed vendor agreements with all contractors, printers, dye houses, and outside sample makers so that we can protect our company and/or take civil recourse for failures. Vendor agreement must pass liability of materials to vendor.
- Document critical quality checkpoints for all production processes. This shall include inspecting and keeping record of nests, markers, specs of production garments, etc. We will need these if problems arise.
-Ensure that Clients are updated on their production weekly. Work with Project Manager (Juan) to accomplish this shared task.
-Create documentation on all issues in production so that we can learn from and calculate losses.
