For our client a highly sought high end ladies fashion brand based and founded in NYC with international roots, we are currently recruiting a charismatic Director of sales to drive the business and join the team in NYC.

Sucessfull at a same level of experience working for small to medium or larger luxury fashion brand in NY - High end Womenswear/Designer wear background is key.

Profile

  • Create business plans with projections, estimated growth and strategy for each division, implement the methods, and assist the sales department to achieve the goals seasonally and annually
  • Analyze and Strategize on department store and specialty store business: react and respond to best/slow sellers, work with buyers to maximize in store events, evaluate CO-OP opportunities, communicate about POD/transfers that need to be made, recap EOS, etc.
  • Travel seasonally for trunk shows, retail events, and product knowledge clinics while planning and executing events in major cities for company.
  • Provide merchandising and seasonal recaps with analysis of classifications, fabrications, silhouettes, and overall global business. Utilize the information to have involvement with design to review design direction, color palettes and style assortment to be proactive with sales needs
  • Manage international business for Company  cultivate current relationships with buyers and prospective new business
  • Target prospective new business
  • Work with shipping and accounting to ensure merchandise is shipped and with production to ensure merchandise is produced.
  • Experience with RLM a plus
