The position reports to the Retail Director. The Senior Visual Merchandiser conceives and creates an atmosphere in order for the consumer to focus his attention on the products, maximize sales volumes, ensuring visual identity, consistency and uniformity among the stores (boutiques, franchisees, and multi-brand) and showrooms, according to the business and brand communication strategies.
Main responsibilities :
•Analyze, design and develop the set of activities and resources that relate to the visual system and the creative language of the store (quantity, type, color, setting, lighting, graphics), in line with business strategy and with different needs of local markets.
•Ensure the development of ideas and guidelines for visual merchandising, also through the implementation and continuous updating of the Visual book, according to the strategies of brand imaging. Studying, selecting and applying the best techniques of preparation, searching and analyzing the latest trends in visual merchandising.
•Organize goods in stores in order to make them attractive to the consumer and choose what and how to expose in showcase, conceiving and developing the store as a form of communication to the end user, in accordance with the Shop Manager.
•Manage the visual merchandisers (headquarters and local) in the operational activities of the construction of showrooms during the sales season.
•Participate in the project of opening and launch of new stores and contribute to the creation of promotional events and special events (for example: Press Open Day). Treat and / or coordinate design and construction of seasonal structures showcases.
- 7 to 10 years minimum in the Visual Merchandising field, ideally from a luxury company
- Skilled and experienced in visual merchandising and window display
- Must have strong technical, organizational, communication and merchandising skills
- Focus and attention to detail
- Must be able to coordinate and conduct educational seminars
- Must be able to travel and some overnight stays are required.
