Title: VP of Marketing
Company Description: Largest Growing E-commerce Site, specializing in consumer goods.
Develop customer-centric marketing plans focused on both driving acquisition, retention and cross-sell. Ensure brand cohesion and marketing efficiency between category-specific marketing, seasonal and cross-sell campaigns, and brand-building efforts.
Build, manage, and develop a team, inclusive of brand, category and retention growth marketers.
Operate with deep category/retail knowledge to help drive category growth at scale and with a holistic view towards marketing-adjacent factors (pricing, merchandising, assortment, curation, landing pages).
Drive marketing budget allocation process between categories to ensure optimal efficiency of spend against key business metrics.
Drive retention and loyalty efforts, inclusive of testing and developing new loyalty programs and features with product and retail team.
Monitor performance and respond to key metrics with operational adjustments as needed; oversee execution (leveraging various internal and external agencies when needed); manage forecast and budget.
Ideate on and share results cross-functionally
15+ years in online retail and/or marketing/consulting, heavy experience working cross-functionally. Ecommerce marketing experience required.
Deep experience building forecasts both top-down and bottoms-up; comfort working with Finance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
Sharp creative eye, experience testing and learning messaging and creative.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment, go-getter, capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and employees.
Creative and collaborative team player who can work with multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups, influence decisions, and work under pressure.
Proven ability to work with data to understand and analyze performance, optimize plans, drive decisions, and measure impact to the business.
Knowledge of and interest in ecommerce customer behavior, retail, brand and direct response marketing critical.
BA/BS degree with strong academic record. MBA strongly preferred.
Consumables category experience a plus!
