GENERAL FUNCTION The specialized advisor is responsible for supporting the management team by demonstrating superior sales behaviors and leadership on the floor, fostering a positive work environment, and executing processes and operational goals in accordance with company standards and policies. Key Responsibilities Assemble bicycles of various types and complexities according to manufacturer specifications, including kids' bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes Ensure all bicycles are built to company and industry quality and safety standards Inspect and adjust components to ensure proper function, including brakes, derailleurs, wheels, and electronic systems for e-bikes Perform final checks on all assembled bikes to ensure they are ride-ready for customers Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, keeping tools and equipment in good working condition Meet productivity targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship Communicate effectively with the team to report any issues with parts, tools, or processes Qualifications Required Previous experience assembling bicycles or working in a bike shop is preferred Strong mechanical skills and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively Familiarity with bike components, including drivetrains, brakes, and electronic systems for e-bikes Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Physical stamina to lift and move bicycles and components as needed Maintain a clean and safe workspace Able to work efficiently with a team Must be able to lift 50 lbs Helpful Mechanical Experience Helpful Job on location Part-Time
