Job Description: Opportunity: Grow Your Career Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.     The Merchandising Team Lead is primarily responsible to drive store sales through the execution of in-store merchandising standards. The merchandise lead will partner closely with the operations, sales, and visual teams to ensure new receipts are merchandised in a way that aligns with our brand, appeals to our customer and encourages her to buy. Understanding company directives and the ability to interpret merchandise guidelines is essential to success in this role. The lead reports directly to the Merchandising Team Manager or ASM-Merchandising, serves as a key holder for the store and leads the merchandising team. - Ensure new receipts are merchandised on the sales floor following company guidelines while interpreting the directives to best align with the brand and your store architecture. - Support the Customer Experience through store merchandising, signing and Omni support. - Lead merchandise associates to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss new product and changes to presentation. - Perform duties such as maintaining store standards, including rotation of products, displaying merchandise properly, pricing and restocking as necessary. - Execute and model best practice for markdowns and signing process to meet store compliance and sell thru goals - Coordinate gathering and moving materials, merchandise, fixtures and equipment necessary for the assigned project work. The Operations Team Associate reports to the Operations Team Manager. - Presents merchandise consistent with merchandising standards - Ensures the timely floor setup, including pricing and signage for sales sets, promotional events and seasonal business activity (excluding shoes and cosmetics) - Ensures direction of playbook and seasonal merchandise meetings - Maintains floor and stock areas consistent with store standards - Works as directed by the Operations Team Manager - Core Store Operations - Performs the process of unloading and sorting merchandise cartons received on trailers. Sets sales and national ad events. - Performs the pulling and processing of transfers, returns to vendors (RTV), damages, and mark out of stock (MOS) merchandise. - Responds and communicates price change inaccuracies and signage issues to the OTM - Maintenance & Housekeeping - Removes packing materials from processing drop zones. Bails cardboard and prepares plastic for recycling. - Ensures the cleanliness of the sales floor and the receiving area following processing on truck days. - Housekeeping includes being responsible for the cleanliness of the facility specifically the restrooms, associate lounge, fitting rooms and office areas.
