Inventory and order supplies, ensuring adequate amounts are always available. Scan and index submitted forms and documents into the OnBase system for digital storage and retrieval. Together, the two divisions enroll approximately 2900 students. Among liberal arts colleges, Oberlin is a national leader in successfully placing graduates into PhD programs. Oberlin is situated on the outskirts of Cleveland, combining a cozy small-town atmosphere with the cultural amenities of a major city. The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cinematheque, Karamu House, several educational institutions, and scores of restaurants, bars, music venues, and theaters add to the cultural and educational opportunities of the region. The Oberlin Department of Biology includes 11 full-time tenure-track faculty whose research and teaching specialties span the breadth of the biological sciences. The department graduates approximately 50 majors per year. Responsibilities The incumbent will teach the standard teaching load (4.5 courses per year) in the general area of conservation ecology. The incumbent will develop a course for the First-Year Seminar Program, and will teach BIOL 103 (Environmental Biology, a course that counts toward the Environmental Studies major), BIOL 210/211 (Genetics, Evolution, and Ecology, a course that is required of all Biology and Environmental Science majors), and upper-level Biology courses, including at least one with a lab, in the general area of conservation biology and ecology. The incumbent will be a full member of the Biology Department, but will also be expected to serve on the Program Committee that oversees the new Environmental Science major. Interest in contributing to one of Oberlin's other new curricular areas (e.g., Data Science, Global Health) is also welcome. The incumbent will also be expected to engage in sustained scholarly research and/or other creative work appropriate to the position and participate in the full range of faculty responsibilities, including academic advising, mentoring undergraduate research, and service on committees. The IT Business Analyst / Applications Developer is a member of the Enterprise Applications team made up of Applications Developers and Business Analysts. CIT is seeking a candidate who is passionate about advancing educational technology and has broad experience with ERP systems, leading implementations and migrating to cloud products. The role will be involved in current and future state business process mapping and improvements as we anticipate migration away from on-prem to a cloud system. The candidate is expected to be an integral part of the cloud systems migration, as well as current production support, system configuration, troubleshooting, security administration, integration, and interfaces with third party systems. Responsibilities This role serves functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for data management improvement opportunities and client support. The Studio Art 2D Studio Manager will support the Studio Art faculty/curriculum by managing classrooms and supplies in printmaking, drawing, painting, and design, while teaching one course a semester in foundational 2D skills. Working in tandem with faculty and staff, the incumbent will oversee the inventory, ordering, stocking, and distribution of art supplies for the department's 2D curricular area. They will be responsible for offering direct support to studio art faculty, performing regular studio maintenance, completing special classroom projects, overseeing classroom preparation between semesters, and managing a small departmental store. This position will work closely with the staff and faculty to oversee the Studio Art 2D facilities, communicate infrastructural needs related to facilities and equipment, manage/record SDS material files, ensure the facilities are in compliance with all procedural and legal safety requirements.     Posting Details Announcement Information Job Summary The Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Multi-Genre Performance and Improvisation beginning with the 2026-27 academic year. About The Oberlin Conservatory of Music, founded in 1865, is the nation's oldest continuously operating conservatory, and the only major music school in the country linked with a preeminent liberal arts college. Students are enrolled in undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Music in performance, jazz studies, composition, technology in music and related arts, recording arts and production, music theater, and musicology. Oberlin also offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Music in conducting, the Master of Music in performance on historical instruments, the Master of Fine Arts in piano technology, and artist diplomas. The Conservatory incorporated jazz into its curriculum in 1973 and began offering a major in jazz studies in 1988. Students can major in both jazz performance and jazz composition.
