Assistant Brand Manager position is responsible for supporting the Sr. Brand Manager of DEI in developing and implementing the DEI strategies across the merchandising business to support BIPOC brands, deliver financial goals, meet the needs of the guest, and maximize profits.

Assistant Brand Manager position is responsible for supporting the Sr. Brand Manager of DEI in developing and implementing the DEI strategies across the merchandising business to support BIPOC brands, deliver financial goals, meet the needs of the guest, and maximize profits.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trends: Identifies trends and stays current on competitive BIPOC landscape and marketplace to maximize sales opportunities and emerging product trends.
- Marketing: Collaborating with Sr. Brand Manager on candidating brands for email spotlight and proofing (ensuring there is consistent BIPOC representation year-round), helping with sign request direction and candidating brands/SKUs for other marketing activations.
- In-Store Merchandising: Responsible for proof all in-store signage for printing; signage for all marketing in promo planner, work with merchants to select brands and secure samples for designated secondary placement, sampler kits, window banners and other merchandising activations.
- Reporting: Pulls, prepares, and analyzes reports from BW, SAP, or Merchandising systems as needed to monitor BIPOC brand and promotional performance.
- Collaboration: Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, including Merchants, eCommerce, Marketing, Operations, Planning & Allocation, Stores, Supply chain, Accounting, FP&A, and brand partners to develop strategies that enhance the performance of our BIPOC brands in addition to preparing content for cross-functional meetings.
- MUSE Accelerator: support the efforts to drive the MUSE accelerator for the existing cohort and alumni in addition to interacting with mentors and fireside chat participants (ie., oversee brand connection, solicit feedback, develop activities/touch points for alumni, etc.)
- Other Support: Manage tracker of BIPOC brands (including door count, hero SKUs, etc.), support the creation of developing educational materials for the field team, support the update of the digital landing page, track our BIPOC KPIs, and manage strategic inboxes, among other activities.

- Continuing Education: Complete training fundamental courses i.e. Retail Math, Analysis for
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Relevant professional experience in Retail, Merchandising, Trend Analysis, and/or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP and SAP Hana a plus

Profile
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Relevant professional experience in Retail, Merchandising, Trend Analysis, and/or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion required
- Strong organizational skills required
