About the Role
Athleta social channels are the window into the brand, where we foster community, build brand equity, and drive customer engagement. Our vision is to provide authentic and engaging social first content for women and girls to foster a place for brand love + loyalty.

To continue to grow, accelerate and scale our social channels we're looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, Social Media to join the team and hit the ground running with content innovation, content calendar management, and content execution.

Additionally, within this role you'll touch our influencer programming executing day to day agency management and contributing to driving broader awareness for the brand via meaningful influencer relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Drive content innovation with weekly brainstorms with cross-functional partnership-stay on the pulse / share out new content formats, platform updates, etc.

  • Execute weekly content briefs and manage content calendar (grid view, Opal)-partner closely with cross functional teams (editorial, creative, etc.) to ideate and execute content creation.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of social first content creation (studio shoots).

  • Influencer programming, day to day agency management to drive campaign strategy, meet timelines, oversee content approvals, and reporting to drive overall brand awareness.

  • Remain up to date on trending content, conversations, news, cultural events and emerging social formats


Who You Are
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of marketing experience with brand/agency-side developing social media creative, editing copy and engaging with an audience

  • Extensive knowledge of social media best practices

  • Skilled in innovative storytelling across social platforms-experience in concepting, briefing and managing social content calendars

  • Experience working with / managing agencies and internal partners

  • Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable adapting to the changing needs of the business / social trends

  • A strong cross-functional partner known for being a team player - easy to work with, positive, motivating, and incredibly collaborative
