This position is responsible for:
Planning, developing, implementing, and directing company-wide asset protection programs across the brand.
Educating brand leadership on potential shrink risks within stores and recommending solutions.
Identifying and implementing effective strategies to reduce shrink within the stores organization and build awareness of asset protection at all levels.
Assisting the SVP Store Operations in the development of expense and capital budgets for asset protection activities.
Directing the implementation of physical controls in new and existing locations in conjunction with store design and construction teams.
Developing and directing asset protection procedures and standards in conjunction with other departments and divisions within the company.
Creating & implementing technology solutions relating to asset protection.
Directing and coordinating brand logistics, facilities, distribution & supply chain areas
Implementing company policies and procedures regarding employee conduct and operational compliance.
Implementing companywide protocols and operational controls to ensure customer and associate safety.
Leading a team of 20+ and reports to SVP Store Operations
Must possess the ability to:
Lead the interview, selection, training and development of Asset Protection associates
Build and maintain strong partnerships with brand and function leaders
Act as Asset Protection liaison between Stores, Home Office and Functional partners
Maintain excellent communication with Asset Protection Field Leadership in order to keep them informed of current brand initiatives that impact the Asset Protection role for their teams
Be knowledgeable about the business and actively share relevant information with Asset Protection team
Influence the development, rollout and maintenance of programs to prevent shrink
Address issues and react quickly to situations as they arise
Work effectively under stressful conditions; adjust to multiple and conflicting demands; show resilience under ambiguous and changing circumstances
Provide oversight of all internal and external investigations.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8-10 years of Asset Protection management experience; minimum 5 years at an area manager level or above
Strong knowledge in the principles and practices of asset protection management
Strategic and analytical thinker
Ability to develop and build cooperative working relationships
Ability to collaborate with all levels in an organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
