Job description

The Account Coordinator is the advocate for driving the total Beauty business. They are the ultimate Beauty guru - owning all events and education around their assigned brand, which they leverage to increase traffic and drive sales for total Macy's beauty. They are the experts of the product line, beauty culture and selling techniques for their assigned brand, however they cultivate an environment of continuous learning for all Beauty Associates on the floor. The Account Coordinator leads the elevation of service by empowering all Beauty associates to become beauty experts, and increase multi-brand selling across the floor. They own the promotional calendar for their brand - strategizing and executing all events from National launches to grassroots events which speak to the local customers' beauty fingerprint. The Account Coordinator will also perform other duties as assigned.

Profile

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory position in a service-driven environment.
- Cosmetics experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Goal-driven, with ability to multi-task.
- Must be creative in training of product knowledge and motivation of daily objectives.
- Must be creative and resourceful to execute in store events strategy.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop a team of highly successful associates. Enthusiastic, friendly, positive energy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Ability to anticipate and solve problems, act decisively and persist in the face of obstacles
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to empower and develop team, collaborate and function as a member of a team, ability to execute plans and strategies.
- Commitment to exemplifying the highest integrity and professional business standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
