Job description

Description This new position will report the Director of Performance Marketing and be responsible for analytics across CRM, Loyalty, brand.com and campaign engagement for MAC Cosmetics North America Online (M-A-C US and CA). The candidate should possess strong analytic and strategic thinking skills to analyze consumer behavior and engagement with the goal to provide insights that increase ROI and customer lifetime value. Responsibilities Analytics & Reporting Leverage advanced analytics to track consumer behavior and engagement to inform marketing decisions and strategies, while maximizing customer annual spend, retention and loyalty Develop annual CRM and Loyalty business reviews to help brand better understand business challenges and identify future opportunities Generate, optimize, and disseminate standard recurring reports to monitor the health of the business Work closely with NOAM 360 Marketing team to support category and launch analyses and provide data insights that effectively inform marketing tactics Be the point of contact for analytic requests from cross-functional teams and partners Collaborate with internal and external partners and vendors on analysis, data extracts and transfers, validations, and analyses Interpret brand-wide data from different sources to create key insights that drive business growths (including, but not limited to Consumer Insights) Email Performance & Segmentation Help track and report email performance, and communication of results to the team and senior leadership. Develop response analyses and leverage results to continuously improve campaign ROI Support Senior Marketing Manager on segmentation testing and inform future strategies that maximize email KPIs and engagement Support test plan creation and reporting for A/B tests and pilots Own reporting for customer lifecycle email campaigns to determine future optimization and trending of key purchase indicators Brand.com Performance Support data collection for reporting on sales, traffic and customer behavior Compile reports with key metrics, benchmarks and learnings, along with a summary of insights to optimize. The reports would be shared, distributed and reviewed by the supervisors and senior leadership. Gather data for analysis of sales and program-specific performance regularly for online marketing and retail campaigns and make recommendations to broader teams for how to improve performance Q

Profile

Qualifications College degree required Thorough understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools 3+ years of experience in CRM and Consumer Analytics 2+ years of programming experience in SAS Proficient in SQL Hands-on Experience in Campaign Management tools such as Adobe or SAS Campaign Management Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence across all B-to-C channels; proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action Experience in retail or consumer products is preferred, but not mandatory Experience in Tableau is desired, but not mandatory Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities Must be a brand advocate and team player Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Adept at creative story telling using data driven insights, and ability to bring advanced consumer data to life for marketing and business partners
