Job description

A day in the life...
- Support tools and reports in production and new development work
- Ensure documentation for new and existing projects is kept up to date
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
- Obtain a common understanding of deliverables; work with sponsors, business partners and leadership to set and manage scope
- Question, analyze, and discover patterns and gaps for work effort at a strategic level; organize results of analysis to communicate and recommend a course of action; manage to a successful outcome
- Escalate issues as appropriate and ensure they are communicated, managed, and resolved considering priority and customer impact

Profile

- 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet and SQL scripting languages
- Advanced proficiency with VBA Macro Experience and Excel
- Experience working with Metadata, MDM, and Data Quality tool suites
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Visio
- Solid understanding of databases, their architectures and database constraints
- Knowledge and experience with (online, retail, merchandising or product development, corporate center) processes, systems and reporting
- Proficient in writing business requirements and process documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently with end users
- Demonstrated ability to influence beyond the scope of their position
- Solid knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate with peers and senior leadership
