Job description

Who are we looking for
We're looking for a Business Operations Planning Analyst in Corporate Information Security (CIS). As our CIS Business Operations Planning Analyst you will join the CIS Cyber Security Business Operations and Enablement team (BOE) within NIKE Corporate Information Security focusing on the planning, forecasting, and tracking of operations to ensure an agile, transparent, and reliably functioning department.
You will be coordinating with the Leadership and Management teams within CIS at Nike to support business operations. Your process and people skills will be critical for maintaining an accurate prioritized list of projects and roles to be funded based on budget conditions, tactical demands, and strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will leverage your analytic skills by working with finance, project, and delivery teams to map monthly budget spend to CIS commitments to find opportunities to improve and mature CIS. You will be facilitating critical corporate planning and reporting processes across the CIS. Additionally, being a people person, your skill as a communicator will be leveraged during creation of internal and external communications ranging from process reminders to creating the collateral to present to the highest levels of Nike leadership.

What will you work on
If this is you, you'll be performing these key tasks:
- Support the leadership team by managing highly accurate forecast to actual spend
- Maintain a prioritized list of ready to go projects to help guide CIS monthly spend, and work with the management and leadership teams to ensure ready to go projects are ready for funding
- Function as primary point of contact for Nike Finance and liaison to CIS senior leadership team
- Partner with the finance, PMO, and delivery teams to facilitate quality reporting of CIS performance mapped to budget spend
- Partner with CIS teams to manage the logistics around critical corporate planning processes, including Corporate Strategic Review (CSR), Resource to Plan (RTP), and project portfolio planning
- Execute purchase orders on behalf of CIS, in coordination with Nike Accounting and Finance
- Produce financial metrics and benchmarking for CIS spend and budget
- Work with the strategy and leadership team to manage critical corporate reporting processes, financial updates and develop the collateral for review
- Represent CIS in financial governance lifecycle, ensuring CIS spending is articulated clearly and approved timely
- Remain relentlessly focused on building and optimizing NIKE CIS's key resources: our talent pool and finances
- Imbue character, consistency, and quality in the internal and external communications
Who will you work with
You will report to the Director of Business Operations & Engagement. You will work with your BOE teammates, CIS leadership, and business and technology teams.


What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience and training
- 3 years' relevant business experience desired in a business operations or administration function
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business process management
- 3+ years of experience within a business environment in an operations or administration role supporting company leadership
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of finance and accounting principals
- Strong desire to operate as a self-starter and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, yet fast-paced, environment.
- Proven ability to provide leadership to managers, supervisors, and professional staff
- Strong process management and problem resolution skills, with an exceptional eye for detail
- Deep experience guiding functional discussions and initiatives across departments
- Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems
- Able to accomplish results by establishing strong partnerships and relationships
- Alignment to short-term and long-term departmental plans for business, production, and organizational priorities
- Solid experience applying business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives
- Demonstrated success in actively supporting and evolving business operations processes that create value through consistent, reliable, and flexible delivery
- Ability to craft compelling communications from metrics and opportunities to leadership
- Facilitate decision making guided by business plans that impact the support and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Management experience a plus, including servant leader and adaptive leadership roles
- MBA or other advanced degree with emphasis on finance or business management
- Process expertise such as Business Process Modeling, Lean, and/or Six Sigma
- Works well in high matrixed and collaborative environments
- Strong business development skills and approaches
