The Business Systems Analyst iwill focus on our Customer Data and be responsible for solving organizational information problems and requirements by gathering business requirements and designing, testing and supporting computer systems. This role requires experience in end-to-end software development, partnering with business stakeholders and software development teams to deliver high quality solutions. The core responsibilities will include managing project scope, defining high level and detailed business requirements, facilitating design, leading end-to-end system and user acceptance testing, and managing production issues.
- Studies business functions; gathers information; evaluates input and output requirements and formats.
- Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow/system charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- Understands and documents data definition, data flows.
- Participates in project teams by leading requirements, design, and testing efforts.
- Using understanding of business scenarios and systems, develops test plans and facilitates end-to-end system and user acceptance testing across multiple teams.
- Resolves project issues; recommends actions.
- Partners with Project Manager to communicate project activities.
- Serves as point of contact to business stakeholders for production issues and facilitates resolution.
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; trains users.


- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
- Passion and knowledge in retail industry, CRM, loyalty, digital marketing, customer data preferred
- Experience in end-to-end software development, Agile framework, Product Ownership, design, testing, and production support at expert level
- Ability to travel (10% or less)
- Be a self starter/motivator and having a proactive and strategic mindsent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong collaboration and coalition building skillsTechnical knowledge and skills needed:
- Experience with documenting requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Ability to articulate business and technology needs/constraints to IT members and end users alike.
- Agile Certifications such as Product Owner is a plus
- Technology and software comprehension -
- Mobile and web based development; front end and back end
- Real time and batch systems integration
- API inputs/outputs, logic
- Quality assurance and performance testing
- Understanding of database structures and design; SQL skills a plus
- Hands on experience and proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, RavenFlow, SmartDraw, and Agile centric tools like Jira and/or Trello.#LI-Remote#LI-JM1
