Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The North American Transportation, Compliance and Trade team is setting a bold strategic vision to deliver merchandise at a pace that meets our consumer's demand, while at the same time ensuring the organization is compliant with all Customs and Trade laws within the North American region. In this role you will establish that all shipments are cleared on time and serve as an expert in the ever-changing landscape in trade for the region. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will work to ensure all US and Canadian Customs exports and imports are in full compliance with government regulatory agency requirements. You will provide oversight to the business's participation in all US & Canadian Trade Programs, including day to day operations, auditing, reporting, and updating of internal policies and procedures.
Internally you will guide and advise cross functional areas such as Converse distribution centers, legal, accounting, finance, and product development (apparel/footwear) to meet all Customs and regulatory compliance standards. You will help research current Customs and Trade industry resources and aid in the development of business cases to help determine pros, cons, benefits to Converse and impacts to the business.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or other related discipline.
- U.S. Customs Broker's license required.
- 2 years Customs, Importer or related industry compliance experience.
- Demonstrated ability utilize and monitor Key Performance Indicators to help drive efficiencies and enhancements.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to research, process & disseminate industry related data.
- Organized and detailed oriented.
- Must be able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to provide group presentations.
