Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Full-time Design Director providing leadership in
conceptualization, coordination, design, planning, and successful execution of
creative elements for 360 creative campaigns. The Design Director will conceptualize
breakthrough assets for digital, interactive, experiential, print collateral,
out of home, and in-store branding.
Strong candidates will be expert designers, detail-oriented, and
proactive team players having experience within Beauty, Luxury Global Brands,
or Fashion across Digital and Print.
Preference for candidates with design agency or ad agency background. ADF portfolio of
brands includes Aramis, DKNY, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, and
Ermenegildo Zegna.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the concept, development, designand creative productions of projects including still and moving image content(Video Campaigns, Digital Assets) and print (OOH, Collateral, In-Store)
- Collaborate with the VPCreative and Global Creative Department to develop thoughtful, innovative, on-brand storytelling conceptsacross print and digital campaigns
- Effectively present and communicatecreative objectives, and articulate concepts to cross functional teammembers. Present to and collaboratedirectly with senior level teams and licensors
- Participate in Creative Briefings,and partner with cross functional teams inclusive of Product Marketing,Consumer Engagement, and Global Creative
- Partner with Project Managers /Creative Operations to ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with agenciesand supervise all outside services.Provide guidance and lead external partners as an extension of the ADFCreative team. Oversee retouching andcolor balancing of key campaign visuals
- Responsible for deliveringglobal guidelines and leadership to regional Creative teams to consistentlyalign with global vision
- Ensure a high level ofexcellence and attention to detail in all creative work produced and executed
- Lead, mentor, develop, andinspire Mid-Level and Junior Designers in Global Creative Department

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 years professional design experience
- BA or BFA in GraphicDesign, Digital Design, Advertising or related field
- Expert art direction,graphic design and typography skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, andinnovative design leader
- Strong multi-tasker underpressure in fast paced environment
- Highly organized, withexcellent communication skills
- Understanding of currentfashion, beauty, lifestyle, luxury trends
- Fluency in Adobe CreativeSuite inclusive of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
