Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Design Operations Director for the Central Graphics, Print, and Tee Studio. As both a strategic leader and operations expert, you will have direct responsibility to drive collaborative, innovative, and effective creative moments for the Central Graphics, Print, and Tee Studio teams.
This role strategically supports the Central Graphics Leadership and creative teams with clear and consistent moment expectations, tools, and processes while identifying areas of opportunity to improve creative teamwork.
The ideal candidate needs to have an incredible attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple competing and sophisticated workstreams, and the capacity to expertly navigate ambiguity.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with Central Graphics, Print, and Tee Studio leadership and Central Design Operations leadership to successfully move the design work forward, ensure designers have the right tools at the right time to complete the work, and understand what the teams need to work more efficiently and effectively.
A typical day/week looks like building processes and workflow for Central Graphics, Print/Pattern, and Tees, connecting with Gender Business Operations and Design Operations partners to understand broader Brand dates/gates, and advocating for creativity with end-to-end Business partners in- and out-of-product creation.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to and work directly with the Design Operations Director for Central Creative (Color/Graphics/Print/Pattern/Tees). This role also works with a broad spectrum of cross-functional partners including senior design leaders, operations peers, designers and design teams, D

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
- 8 Years work Experience in Product Creation, Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Relevant industry.
- Background or experience in understanding Graphic + Print Design process from concept to color separations + schematic creation.
- Experience working with creative teams in a studio/agency environment is preferred.
- Experience leading a cross-functional team preferred.
- Creative mentality and deep understanding of creative processes.
- Passion for simplified processes + workflows to enable the right work at the right time.
- Passion for questioning assumptions and redefining/improving traditional ways of working.
- Deep process and operational experience.
- Highly collaborative approach, value for harmony.
- Strong communication both written and visual including strong presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and facilitate at the senior leader level.
- Ability to lead virtual teams, manage complex projects and balance multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and driving a team to transparency and results.
- Passionate, curious problem solver.
- Change agent/change management abilities.
