Job description

The Digital Business Strategy team at Bath & Body Works Direct is responsible for providing strategic support and thought leadership to functional and senior leaders within the digital organization. The team’s primary focus is to deliver business growth through solutioning and innovating the digital experience at bbw.com.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The Analyst, Digital Business Strategy is primarily responsible for understanding digital market trends and capabilities along with internal customer shopping behaviors, evaluating and presenting insights on actionable recommendations to internal clients, and fueling long term growth initiatives that shape the digital roadmap. This individual must be able to work independently in research as well as personal project management. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Maintain competitive marketplace awareness of current best-in-class and emerging/advanced techniques, within and beyond specialty retail
-Perform independent research for digital capabilities, experiences, and services that tie back to key business objectives 
-Utilize various internal customer data resources to identify meaningful business insights and opportunities to influence the BBW digital strategy
-Utilize web analytics tools and partner with the customer analytics team to gather actionable insights
-Partner with prospective third-party vendors on customer solutions and capabilities for long-term growth initiatives
-Build and maintain repository for research and business opportunity tracking 
-Deliver compelling presentations and insightful executive summaries on new business opportunities 
-Collaborate with internal teams to document and track business needs 
-Assist in providing ad hoc/focused research to teams and leaders as requested
-Create and maintain documentation for key business priorities
-Support creation of new processes that can be applied and bring value to the business

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Exceptional strategic-thinker with high energy and innovative perspective
-Experience with qualitative insights, voice of customer, and market research to inform strategy
-Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and knowledge of web analytics tools and reporting 
-Successfully demonstrate time-management and prioritization to meet deadlines
-Ability to draw insights from data with problem-solving capabilities
-Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
-Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
-Polished communication and interpersonal skills to craft compelling recommendations 
-Effectively engage others through influence and collaboration
-High degree of initiative, personal responsibility and ownership
-Highly motivated with strong desire to succeed
-Ability to travel when needed
EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-3+ years in digital retailing or strategy consulting environment
-Experience with creating business proposals and presentations to senior leaders 
-Proven record of successful digital business accomplishments
-Experience working and thriving in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and cross-functional teams
