Job description

The Digital Marketing Manager-QVC will assist in managing key elements of the philosophy business on QVC and Zulily n the US to maximize sales and profitability in all channels: On Air, Buy Anytime, QVC.com and Auto Delivery.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Create and manage strategic product assortment for QVC.com, Auto Delivery, QVC2, Beauty IQ and Zulily.
- Work closely with US Marketing and Global Marketing to identify new opportunities, new product formats and configurations for QVC on air, qvc.com, Auto Delivery, QVC2 and Beauty IQ and Zulily.
- Manage the QVC Auto Delivery replenishment channel to ensure customers lock in to the program during the on air presentation to increase the attachment rate.
- Manage the marketing and social media campaigns with QVC and philosophy to fuel new customer growth, increased revenue and drive customer tune in to all philosophy shows, TSV's, new product launches, Key Drivers and Big Buys.
- Develop and manage creative briefs and partner with philosophy creative team to develop product photography for on air, off air and social media marketing initiatives.
- Plan strategic sampling and GWP programs for QVC to drive customer tune in, customer acquisition and customer retention.
- Partner with the QVC sampling team to participate in at least five QVC beauty box on air programs per year. Plan the product assortment, internal costs and external pricing, and product information and promotional assets.
- Partner with the QVC sweepstakes team to participate in monthly sweepstakes. Plan the product assortment and provide all necessary assets to QVC.
- Assist with QVC annual events including Beauty with Benefits and Beauty Bash. Coordinate product and documentation needs, internal costs, and PO process.
- Generate monthly reports on all QVC marketing campaign performance.
- Analyze and communicate competitive trends and performance for beauty and non-beauty brands within the home shopping competitive landscape
- Submit and manage documents to QVC Buying office, including product page builds, pricing sheets, POs, and exclusivity forms. Applies to all on-air, buy anytime, and extended assortment offerings.
- Manage the assortment of product samples for photography and testing purposes. Order necessary products from the warehouse, maintain the product display wall and storage cabinets, mail samples to QVC partners and on-air guests, and manage the monthly no-charge order process that sends samples to QVC Buying office, QVC customer service center, QVC marketing and broadcast teams, and other key QVC stakeholders.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with external partner On Air Direct to execute new product assortments for QVC. Develop and distribute product page build documents, product imagery, ingredient lists, and safety data sheets. Assist with the PO process.
- Provide social media assets to the philosophy on-air guest team.
- Assist with maintaining a robust marketing calendar with product assortment details including launch date, retail prep, retail price, and special promotional information for all on-air and online product offers.
- Partner with the philosophy.com ecomm team to review and approve monthly website promotional offers and outlet assortment so nothing compete with the QVC business.
- Coordinate with QVC Broadcast team to provide all necessary on-air support, for the QVC hosts, philosophy guests, models, wardrobe, set decoration, props, products, cue cards, product blueprints, etc


- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's degree a plus
- 5-7 years of digital Marketing or Ecommerce Management experience in the beauty industry
- Knowledge of the global beauty industry and retail.com landscape
- Knowledge of QVC and/or HSN
- Quantitative, analytical and marketing creativity skills needed
- Ability to think strategically or tactically in different situations
- Strong work ethic with strong efficiency orientation
- Must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to work either independently or with cross-functional teams in a fast moving/changing environment
- Shows initiative to drive results and solve problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to build, foster, and nurture strong relationships and gain the trust and respect of cross-functional team's stakeholders
