About the RoleThe Rewards, Loyalty & Payments - Strategy & Analytics team is responsible for driving loyalty and payments innovation, analysis and insights across the Gap Inc. family of brands. Our best in class, cross branded rewards program is made up of multi-tender and credit cardmembers that drive significant customer and financial value to our brands and is an integral part of our payments strategy.
The Business Analysis & Insights team serves as a shared service and the primary point of contact for the broader RLP team, as well as cross-band and functional business partners, on loyalty and payments related campaign/customer/program level reporting, analyses, forecasts and insights. As the leader of this group, this role will be responsible for establishing foundational structure, methodologies and processes to enable data-driven business decisions, proactive insights to inform program opportunities and guide business partners on loyalty and payments initiatives and investments. The ideal candidate must be a proactive and innovative leader who is customer curious and results-oriented. They must have strong analytical, communication and influencing skills, financial acumen and willingness to problem solve quickly and creatively.What You'll Do
- Manages team responsible for assessing program stated benefits, seasonal campaigns and customer performance across our family of brands to identify trends, support financial and customer forecasting, and iden tify growth opportunities by segment, brand and/or as a portfolio
- Performs complex analyses, leveraging multiple data sources, to generate data-driven insight and recommendations in business-friendly language
- Works with L&P and Brand Finance teams on weekly, monthly, seasonal, and yearly forecasting efforts
- Partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify reporting needs, and establishes, manages, and prioritizes Loyalty & Payments reporting and analytics pipeline and roadmap
- Partners with internal and external Tech and PdM teams to manage data improvement projects and solutioning efforts to meet loyalty analytics needs
- Regularly partners with business partners, including the Customer Data & Analytics team to identify testing strategies, including the definition of test and control groups and KPI's for on-going L&P initiatives
- Provides thought leadership to team and helps to problem solve around key strategic decisions Who You Are
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in customer analytics, marketing, loyalty, ecommerce or related field analyzing multi-channel marketing programs or supporting detailed forecasting
- Must have strong financial acumen and analytical rigor with advanced knowledge of Excel; Preferably has experience with customer segmentation and using customer level data to glean insights and make recommendations
- Must have strong communication skills written, oral and formal presentation; ability to actively participate and influence executive-level discussions and decision making
- Proven ability to lead, manage and gain alignment across a complex, matrixed organization
- Results oriented with a successful track record of developing and implementing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, while also maintaining oversight of the business and direct reports
- Self-starter with a desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Past credit card, retail, or loyalty experience preferred
