Job description

The Director, Digital Marketing supports the Saks OFF 5TH business by defining and executing our digital marketing strategy, in partnership with the Digital Marketing COE and Marketing Acceleration teams. The primary objective of this individual is to drive continuous effectiveness and efficiency improvement in how OFF 5TH spends its digital marketing budget across paid search, affiliates, paid social and display. This individual is responsible for managing the digital marketing budget and makes critical channel allocation decisions, leveraging key tools such as MTA and MMM. He / she coordinates with the Digital Marketing COE to ensure flawless execution and continuously analyzes results to guide future investment decisions. In parallel, this individual coordinates with the Marketing Acceleration team to define the learning agenda for our test-and-learn efforts. He / she remains current on all pilot results and iterates with both the Marketing Acceleration and Digital Marketing COE teams to scale key tactics and continue to refine the OFF 5TH learning agenda. Lastly, this individual will work with the OFF 5TH Digital team, as well as Digital Marketing, to identify opportunities to optimize email performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital marketing optimization (e.g., A/B and multivariate testing), key measurement tools (MTA, MMM) and platforms (Omniture, Google Adwords, Rakuten Linkshare etc.) He / she will have a strong analytical background and a willingness to quickly ramp up on new ways of working. This individual will be fast-moving, adaptable, curious and good at managing internal stakeholders across the business unit and COE teams.
