Job description

We are looking for a sharp, digital-savvy, passionate Director to lead our digital marketing strategy and oversee campaign execution for Fossil Group in the America's. The right candidate will be a passionate self-starter who loves to drive success and is constantly looking for ways to improve.
This position is responsible for overseeing and leading NAM digital marketing strategies and performance for all portfolio and owned brands across the DTC and Amazon business. Supervises a team of highly engaged and eager digital experts across paid search, affiliates, retargeting, social media and brand media advertising as well as several external agencies while partnering with leading media and technology vendors. This leader will plan, forecast, and guide digital investment while overseeing the day-to-day paid media operations to maximize advertising return and operating income both long term and short term.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own/ oversee NAM seasonal digital marketing briefing, planning and recommendation process organizing direct reports and external agencies to provide a recommendation to senior leadership
- Own/ oversee/ guide team on weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial and business reporting and insights for NAM
- Own/ oversee 8-figure NAM budget for all digital marketing channels including but not limited to paid search, organic search, paid social, affiliates, retargeting, display, video, and connected TV for all DTC businesses and Amazon
- Own/ oversee NAM digital marketing measurement and performance analysis ensuring that key insights and recommendations are clearly communicated to senior leadership
- Oversee digital marketing team and digital marketing agencies through strong day-to-day executional leadership and management, running regular agency leader check-ins to ensure goals and expectations are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships, acting as NAM digital marketing go-to lead across all cross-functional department (from Global Media, CRM team, Global Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Merchant Groups, External vendors/ partners, External Agency to all cross-functional channel teams)
- Oversee team processes, best practice execution and overall governance (i.e.: feed management, pixel management, analytics and dashboard reporting, etc.)
- Oversee annual audits across digital channels with a close eye on competitive insights to ensure best practice application and execution, making edits to strategy and execution as appropriate
- Closely monitor digital industry changes/ trends and translate those into proactive, actionable recommendations for NAM and share those opportunities with Global teams as appropriate
- Mentor, guide, direct and manage the digital marketing team (of 7) to execute exceptional digital campaigns to exceed short term and long term business goals
- Instill vision, excitement and next level thinking across digital marketing team and organization, lead by example

Profile

- Minimum 10+ years experience in digital marketing execution and leadership
- Execution experience and leadership experience in primary advertising channels (search, affiliates and paid social)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a sense of ownership and desire to succeed
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to guide and direct various groups easily both locally and virtually
- Charismatic and caring leader
- Strong negotiation and influence skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational and team management skills
- Experience in Salesforce and Google Analytics preferred
