Job description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Tactical Thinking: oversee the steps and resources needed for creatives to build the full ambition of each project. This role will partner and manage creatives to closely communicate with cross functional product managers and engineers from the start of a program to final launch, to post-launch management.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and final ambition -- set plans and goals in their internal day-to-day meetings and cross-functional teams.

Prioritization / Road Mapping: Must have experience prioritizing tasks within budget, timing and resources. Understand MVPs, testing and incorporating phased approaches to achieve final ambition. Ability to identify the right initiatives and business goals to focus on and add to a product roadmap

Customer experience Creative thinker, understanding of user journeys, best practices for user experience in digital products. Understanding relevant needs of digital consumers today: Mobile-first and social-first customer journeys.

Data, Testing, Optimization: Experience planning for A/B tests and phased approach digital experiences. Experience reading data capturing platforms such as Google Analytics and Content Square

The Digital/Social team led by this position should act as a bridge between:

  • Online & Social
  • Online, social and Creative Strategy for any Trend initiatives
  • Digital & Editorial - Improve communication and anticipate social deliverables to better coordinate online and social copy delivery.
  • Digital & Production - Anticipate social deliverables (via content plan and shot-list) ahead of time to allow more time for Production team to plan all photoshoot production.
  • Digital & Video Production - deliver/deploy all video assets inclusive of fliters
  • Digital & Ops - Ensure that the Category Ops programs owners are receiving key social assets in a timely manner so they can brief and follow up with the teams on briefs and release the requested deliverables to the Regions according to project schedules.
STRATEGIC

  • How the M.A.C brand tenants translates into the digital world (social, brand.com, retailers.com, etc.)
  • Manage trend workstreams in partnership with Creative Strategy
  • Understanding regional needs in terms or digital - local trends, stakes, etc.
  • Latest trends in social and digital innovation
  • Knowledge of practices and competitive landscape

Profile

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5-8 years of digital strategy and/or project management experience

  • Full-funnel experience of Digital eCommerce and wholistic 360 digital campaigns

  • Experience delivering campaign creative for key Social Platforms : IG, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Youtube

  • Ability to interpret, and help teams action against paid marketing and social analytics data for SOV and EMV

  • Ability to work within Wrike and a working knowledge or better using Dash Hudson

  • Ability to leverage google docs and Microsoft suite in day to day

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ownership of projects and follow through on details.

  • Superior organizational and management skills

  • Keen ability to troubleshoot, multi-task and re-prioritize multiple projects as needed and work under pressure

  • Ability to build strong professional relationships and provide exceptional "customer service" to cross-functional teams and Regions

  • Digital Agency experience a plus.
