Job description

POSITION: Director - eCommerce Merchandising & Marketing
DEPARTMENT: eCommerce
REPORTS TO: AVP eCommerce
LOCATION: St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)
The Director of eCommerce will drive merchandising and marketing strategies for all PPD and Partner Brands on SalonCentric.com and the SalonCentric App. This Individual is also accountable for developing a team of two Managers, each with an Assistant. This role is responsible for influencing SalonCentric digital priorities and KPIs. He/she will set the strategic direction of the site/app with respect to the brands. Cross functional collaboration is critical to this role in ensuring the vision of all key stakeholders is achieved, while also driving the best possible customer experience across platforms. This position directly influences digital/omni-digital revenue & profitability through campaign planning & eCommerce customer journey. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder and people developer who has an eye for detail. They will be comfortable working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment and have an omni-channel mindset.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a team of four with two direct reports including setting employee goals that align with company objectives
- Manages brand relationships for the eComm channel, coaching Managers along the way
- Partners with Marketing, Category Management and SMD teams for assortments and promotions
- Accountable for merchandising and site content strategies for all categories, PPD, and Partner brands
- Oversees execution of monthly site merchandising and promotions, key initiatives for site maintenance such as SEO, internal search, and dynamic sorting rules
- Partner with Performance Marketing and Product Management to continuously evaluate site performance metrics and provide data driven recommendations for strategic roadmap changes
- Drives eCommerce/omni-channel sales by partnering with the larger Customer Experience Team, channel leads and Brands

Profile

- 3+ years of management of direct reports or equivalent leadership experience
- Experience in SalesForce Commerce Cloud and Google Analytics is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related fields is preferredL'Oreal has workplace flexibility and programs to help manage our work and personal responsibilities which include up to 2 days of work remote a week for most functions (not including lab, retail store, field sales, plant or distribution center based roles).
