Job description

- 7+ years working in analytics-related roles; direct to consumer eCommerce experience a plus.
- College Degree
- Expert knowledge and skill with data, data management, data activation and statistics, particularly as it relates to eCommerce and consumer analytics; experience with media, CRM, SEO a plus
- Demonstrated strength in communication and influencing skills; not only written and verbal, but also in the engagement of internal and external business partners
- Strong computer skills necessary (All Microsoft Office programs)
- Related work experience which demonstrates an understanding of and skill in the confluence of brand management and direct-to-consumer marketing principles
- Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
- Highly collaborative across different stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Strong projection & forecasting skills
- Open to new ideas and actively builds networks to achieve goals

- Strong time management and prioritization skills Section 4: Judgment and Decision Making:
This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Ecommerce, GM, CMO) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes in-house expert on the account database to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of executing a variety of strategy. This position will require moderate supervision to maintain a proper corporate direction.

Section 2: Job Summary:
The role of the Director of eCommerce Traffic Optimization will be tasked with driving the holistic site traffic optimization strategy across our portfolio of LUXE brands, leveraging our channel drivers (CRM, paid, organic, etc) as our primary levers to link our consumers back to our flagship DTC websites. Using a data-driven approach, this individual will be obsessed with identifying and unlocking opportunities to drive more qualified traffic and consumers to our DTC sites. They will be building a process to enable teams to continuously monitor site traffic performance and optimize their strategies. This leader serves as a key subject matter expert on direct-to-consumer traffic performance & consumer acquisition tactics, providing brands with proper industry benchmarks and competitive best practices. We are looking for a consumer-focused, analytical, content marketing & digital ecommerce professional who is a skilled communicator and comfortable working with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
This role drives collaboration and influences multiple levels of leadership to execute on the following key deliverables:
- Develop and lead divisional D2C site traffic mix & optimization strategy to drive efficient user acquisition and fuel growth across all channels:
- CRM (Email, SMS)
- Paid Search & Social
- Display & Programmatic
- Affiliate Marketing
- Influencer Marketing
- Organic (SEO, Social)
- Partner across LUXE brands and Digital accelerator teams to develop comprehensive D2C KPIs and goals based on historical benchmarks, market performance & industry best practices. These general goals should then be cascaded to develop specific channel traffic goals.
- Establish process for performance measurement in order to optimize traffic strategy using the established goals, key metrics and KPIs to drive action
- Using industry research and CRM 1st Party Data, continuously identify and optimize target D2C consumer profiles to ensure our strategy is properly focused to convert traffic to sales.
- Develop a cohesive, channel agnostic means to measure, monitor and report out performance in terms of traffic, including but not limited to: general performance, new traffic driving initiatives, A/B testing
- Partner with necessary channel stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop a Divisional strategy, implement key initiatives, and measure the success in terms of traffic driven and P&L impact.
- Contribute to divisional activation strategy to support Customer Sales Planning process
- Share and socialize successful insights and tactics learned across other internal L'Oréal brands.
- Adapt and cultivate a "measurement as a religion" mindset across teams and brands.
