Lead, develop & manage creative strategy across design, digital content, photography, visual merchandising, packaging, promotions and creative operations.
Provide support and guidance to creative support teams (external agencies, Global Comm, digital team) as they execute against the brand vision.
Develop a trustful working relationship with the founder, license partners and Creative counterparts at the Tory Burch organization.
Establish a clear process for delivering the work and for working with cross-functional teams worldwide.
Collaborate with external & internal agencies and manage communication with each.
Deliver strategic programs to be executed in different customer channels.
Consistently complete projects on time and within scope.
Communicate solutions to issues and devise creative ways to produce deliverables.
Able to work on multiple projects under a tight schedule and ensure timely delivery.
Update creative guidelines as needed. Distribute to agencies, vendors and global markets to ensure Tory Burch standards are upheld.
Oversee production process to ensure standards are met with timely delivery.
Qualifications & Competencies
Degree in communications or other arts-related field of study.
12+ Years of relevant creative experience in a fast-paced retail brand.
Experience managing a licensor/founder relationship.
Diverse portfolio of skills with experience in design, digital content, visual merchandising and design management. Both 2D and 3D.
Demonstrated strategic-thinking and creativity with excellent practical skills in getting things done.
Excellent coaching and people management skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading cross-functional teams to deliver excellent work in print, broadcast, online and in a variety of customer channel settings. Strong strategic thinking, nimble learning and excellent communication skills are a must for articulating the vision and providing feedback.
