The Director, Global Social Media Product Manager will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision & strategy that enables the best Social experiences tailored for our consumers:

  • Supports growth of SMM products across parallel projects to encourage innovations from a strategic and operational perspective
  • Continuously innovates and improves ways of working via process re-engineering & standardization at a global level
  • Aligns business priority decisions with IT, cross-functional teams, and regional partners to understand implications of each other's projects, and amend roadmap accordingly

Global Social Media Product Manager Experience:
  • Proven Product Manager/Product Owner experience with social media management or digital technology

  • Experience with defining product strategy and vision informed by channel partners, social listening insights, and/or data-driven analysis

  • Knowledge of global Social Media channels, engagement best practices, and familiarity with MarTech

  • Ability to solicit, analyze, and define requirements for large-scale programs with the social media management solutions and work with teams to break down high level features into tactical user stories

  • Ability to infuse technical and product management best practices on standards, methodologies, and governance social media digital engagement workflows

  • Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills needed to align key stakeholders across the organization around prioritization and delivery of strategic roadmap and product backlog

  • Good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with experience in driving innovation and business metrics with a consumer-first mindset

  • Experienced in agile delivery methodology and design thinking

  • Understand competitive landscape of digital omnichannel contact centers and social media integrations

  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification preferred

Technical Skills:
  • Previous experience leading global enterprise RFPs/vendor selections and implementations preferred

  • Experience creating technical product and design requirements

  • UX/UI sensibility and understanding ie. Offset of a few pixels could determine success or failure

  • Experience using Atlassian platforms (JIRA, Confluence) ideal

  • Prior experience with Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio ideal

  • Relevant IT security experience and familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc

Experience / Education
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or role within social media products preferred, overseeing implementation of 3rd party software for marketing related domain

  • Ability to lead large, complex initiatives and influence functional leadership

  • Experience working across functional teams to understand goals, needs, and host future state design workshops to define product requirements

  • Understanding of the interplay between online/social and traditional channels

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience in retail or consumer products is preferred, but not mandatory
