Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, our New Business Development Director leverages superior analytical, general management, and marketing acumen to develop strategic insights for Jockey to identify and enter new markets and/or channels for Jockey.
This role works out of our Kenosha, WI location and is not remote eligible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to Jockey's success by using customer, category, and shopper insights to identify and qualify new markets and channels for Jockey to enter and developing corresponding new products and Go-To-Market strategies
Role is supported by a data analyst and a full cross functional team
Role has yearly revenue targets
Role requires an entrepreneurial, consumer centric mentality, a strong team player and a "general managers" mindset with a strong marketing track record
Provide status reporting to the VP
Prioritize, plan, and track project progress

Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive business development leadership experience plus a Bachelors' degree, or 15+ years of progressive business development leadership experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of management experience of teams dedicated to strategic planning, marketing, and brand
- Apparel or retail industry experience strongly preferred
- Identifies and acts upon trends, pulling together successful cross functional teams as the situation requires
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization
- Strong track record of excellence, with a focus on new business development

Profile

- 10+ years of progressive business development leadership experience plus a Bachelors' degree, or 15+ years of progressive business development leadership experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of management experience of teams dedicated to strategic planning, marketing, and brand
