Director of eCommerce Strategy
The Director of eCommerce is critical leadership role at rag & bone, who is responsible for growing the eCommerce business while managing the day-to-day needs. Expanding our digital footprint is a key initiative at rag & bone, and the Direct of eCommerce will partner with the VP of eCommerce to drive the company's overall digital vision and ultimately execute up on it. Strategy and Planning
- Support VP, eCommerce in driving the digital strategic plans to deliver successful financial results via web merchandising, content, and customer journeys.
- Identifying and partnering with ecommerce teammates across digital product, performance marketing, and omni services, in addition to cross functional partners in planning and buying to driv.
- Own and manage the eCommerce P&L, including creating and delivering sales plans and goals in partnership with the planning and buying teams, and coordinating all ecommerce operating expenses.
- Develop content strategy and promotional calendar with creative and planning partners that's fully integrated and consistent with the brand business strategy.
- Monitor developing eCommerce technology trends, evaluate business opportunities, recommend, and execute new initiatives.
- Oversee execution of eCommerce plan, while maintaining visual, functional, and compliant standards.
- Manage the team responsible for daily ecommerce operations including online merchandising, product life cycle, product imagery, product descriptions, promotion, and content execution (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Partner with Performance Marketing and Digital Product ecommerce teams to develop and execute the online marketing strategy for overall e-commerce business goals (i.e. landing page strategy and on site functional needs).
- Work closely with brand marketing and creative teams to develop and execute landing pages, and seasonal content to highlight key brand initiatives, products, and categories.
- Direct visual merchandising strategy of the site to support seasonal campaigns and brand initiatives while optimizing conversion.
- Analyze business, merchandising and site performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Develop insights and respond to trends in KPIs including revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV, returns and LTV.
- Optimize performance with a creative and analytical approach to online site merchandising and coordination with performance marketing efforts.
- Develop, interpret and react to user testing and A/B testing strategies.

Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7 - 9 years' experience
- A holistic and well-rounded eCom background: P&L, merchandising, operational and marketing experience
- A deep understanding of retail, especially buying, planning and inventory management.
- Experience working within a rapidly growing eCommerce business.
- Experience working within an eCommerce business that is over $150mm in net sales
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience
- The estimated salary for this position is $140,000-$160,000 based on experience and qualifications.
