Job description

Abercrombie & Fitch and abercrombie kids, on a journey of purpose-driven brand reinvention and digital transformation, seek a Director, Omni-Channel Customer Marketing to lead and develop the team, ways of working, and capabilities to plan, deliver, measure and continuously evolve the annual, seasonal and product drop marketing strategies across our owned ecosystem of destinations, channels, and relationship program(s) for the brands. The role reports to SVP, Head of Marketing for Abercrombie brands, and is based at the ANF global campus in Columbus, OH.
What will you be doing?
- Leading and developing a team of marketing strategists for A&F and Abercrombie kids who are collectively responsible for the annual, seasonal, and product drop marketing strategies across stores, sites, apps, email, push, and relationship program(s) with a relentless focus on customer health
- Partnering across marketing strategy functions in brand and media to plan and deliver connected customer journeys and supporting marketing strategies across the total ecosystem
- Connecting global marketing strategies with EMEA and APAC regions (and in-market teams) to ensure they are locally relevant and effectively represent the market and consumer
- Partnering with merchandising functions to effectively bring the product assortment(s) to market and connect omni-channel product presentations across sites, apps, and stores
- Partnering with financial planning and promotions teams to deliver the business strategy, read and react to a rapidly evolving marketplace and consumer, and ensure marketing strategies perform across business metrics that matter
- Partnering with creative teams in art direction, design, and copy to effectively develop a content strategy and ensure final creative assets are aligned to and deliver on the brief
- Partnering with digital product, user experience design and store design teams to continuously evolve the customer experience to achieve our connected retail ambition of meeting customers where they are
- Partnering with data, analytics and consumer insights functions to plan, deliver and measure insight-driven marketing strategies
- Driving and cultivating an innovation mindset while playing a key role in our marketing transformation across capabilities and agile ways of working
- Inspiring and compelling a customer-first culture that builds communities of brand lovers

Profile

- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related area of study
- 12+ years of experience in marketing strategy with experience in transformation at a startup, leading brand, agency, or consulting firm
- 5+ years leading and developing a high-performance team through significant growth or transformation
- Proven track record of leading marketing team(s) and cross-functional partners to plan, deliver, and measure best-in-class marketing through agile ways of working in a digital-first organization
- Strong understanding of how marketing strategy, enabling capabilities, and ways of working intersect to deliver best-in-class brand, business and talent growth
- A passion for the customer relationship, staying curious and pushing boundaries
