Job description

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

  • Partner with Sales Team on sales and margin forecasting with detailed analysis on order base, customer profitability, budget vs forecast, budget vs actual sales & margin variance analysis
  • Work with the Sales Team on "by season" and "total year" detailed customer profitability including return and dilution analysis
  • Work closely with Sales/Finance and upper management to produce annual sales goals and budgets
  • Partner with Sales Team on corporate sales/margin reporting, inventory roll and seasonal inventory reporting
  • Oversee margin plan by customer; be the strategic thought partner to the Sales Team
  • Responsible for achieving net sales and GM targets in conjunction with Sales and Planning Teams
  • Prepare EOM recap template to identify monthly and YTD variances +/(-) to budget, latest estimates and LY
  • Prepare & distribute monthly aged ATS on hand
  • Prepare standard budget / latest estimate sales and margin forecast templates across brands
  • Prepare weekly bookings analysis vs. same time LY to see bookings trend year over year.
  • Works closely with Sales, Planning and Finance management team to prepare for business meetings with corporate management (i.e. business update on a monthly basis)
  • Lead the development of new methodologies, as needed, to improve sales planning process and results
  • Create ideas to drive sales while maintaining profitability and minimizing risks
  • Partner with Planning & Finance leadership for Ad Hoc reporting
  • Assist Finance Team with monthly report preparation & distribution
  • Complete standard reporting and Analysis
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of processes and the sharing of best practices
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Prepare & distribute monthly shipping recaps on a weekly basis


Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, statistics, finance or a related field
  • 8 - 10+ years of experience in a similar role involving bookings, sales and gross profit analysis
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple data sources
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions; understands relevant business area issues and implications
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with internal partners to achieve goals
  • Advanced Excel, Analyzer Office, SAP

Salary Range: $131,600-$164,500

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
