Job description
Lead & manage strategic partnership with Target
Train & lead account managers to sell, implement, and evaluate business plans to meet or exceed financial objectives.
Train & lead account managers to manage and improve distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising.
Translate National Business Plans into actionable selling stories for the account managers
Steward trade funds by delivering appropriate ROI's and minimizing customer invalid deductions.
Develop productive working relationships with key customer contacts and sell win/win business plans
Turn raw data into actionable conclusions
Train and lead account managers to leverage consumer insights to partner with customer to input into the development of Joint Business Plan.
Train and lead account manager to leverage analytical tools and integrate various data systems to develop new department and category insights
Provide input into retailer category strategy
Strategic planning the overall business, to include development of a sales plan and quota attainment.
Responsible for total CB Coty portfolio. Develop deep understanding of Coty Brands (strategies, priorities, portfolios).
Plan and execute Quarterly Business Review (QBR) to the internal Coty Team, reviewing performance, and outlining strategy based on analytical data.
Establish productive relationship with all customer cross-functional departments, to maximize support in all business areas (marketing, replenishment, data systems, and finance).
Consistently deliver upon consumption, share and ROI targets.
Train & lead account managers to coordinate all planogram sets with support personnel; new store activities and assortment revisions, including adding Coty new items to planogram assortments. Develop Promotional strategy and presentations, special prepacks and events to maximize sales opportunities.
Facilitate work with sales analysts to measure Coty POG's versus sales benchmarks, ensure promotional strategy will generate increased sales, and promotions are correctly distributed to maximize sales.
Train & lead account managers to accurately forecast the business and proactively alerting HQ of major shifts in the business.
Train & lead account managers to ensure all promotional and replenishment orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner, according to lead times.
Budget / P&L management. Work to improve status quo at every level (reduce days outstanding, reduce returns, minimize expenditures on account specific programs, etc.).
Director - Sales, Target Sales Team Leader

The Sales Director for Target will lead a team that is responsible for maintaining a profitable and healthy business through joint business planning with Target. The individual is responsible for delivering growth through maximizing core while expanding new distribution of Coty brands. This person will become an expert on Coty brand strategies and product portfolios to work in conjunction with their team and internal business partners to create and execute a 4P strategy at the customer. The individual will have full ownership of all levels of the customer P&L.
The role will be a key direct report to the Sr Vice President of US Sales and Trade Marketing and be instrumental in maximizing sales and driving overall growth and performance for the department. This person should be adaptable to the changing needs of the business and communicate progress and risk effectively to management on a consistent basis. The right candidate will be highly organized and proactive in their approach, with a positive, team-player attitude. The position calls for a growth and results driven strategist and executor who is tapped in culturally within the industry. This person must be experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: 4 year Bachelor Degree; MBA preferred
Experience: 8-10 year CPG at Major Account Level
Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Nielsen
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
