Job description

The District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM) position will be responsible for overseeing all Loss Prevention related functions within the stores of a particular district or market. Under the supervision of the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, the DLPM will execute all Loss Prevention programs, drive operational and internal awareness, and provide the training/education to support store teams on various shortage reduction practices. Additionally, the DLPM will work vigorously to identify and resolve all internal theft issues and work hand-in-hand with local law enforcement and other retailers to combat organized retail crime groups.

Develop and maintain an excellent working partnership with the Store Management Team including District Managers, Regional Manager, and Human Resources

Actively participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of programs designed to proactively reduce shrink and inspire operational excellence within the stores
Responsible for internal and external theft resolution in the assigned market
Perform LP audits and evaluate policies and procedures during store visits
Ensure safety/shortage programs are consistently executed in all stores
Ensure adequate and reliable physical security within the stores. Handle all crisis management situations
Other essential tasks may occur as directed by your supervisor and may include projects and proposals for the assigned district. Also potential supervision of the Loss Prevention Agent position.
Essential Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Administration and/or related experience.

Experience and Skills:
5+ years of work experience in Loss Prevention.
At least (1) year of experience in a multi-store environment
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Excellent interviewing techniques (Wicklander-Zulawksi certified preferred)
Excellent Time Management
Strong Leadership Skills
Solid Computer skills – E-mail, Word, Excel, XBR, LPMS
