Serving as the primary resource for General Managers (GMs) throughout your district, you will drive ever-increasing levels of performance and achievement by applying best-practices in retail business development, with special emphasis on recruiting, training, people development, guest relationship development, profitability and related initiatives. You'll accomplish all of this by: Championing and modeling the Ulta Beauty mission, vision and values Driving all district budgeted sales targets within retail and salon/services Inspiring superior guest service, with special focus on promotion of Ulta Beauty loyalty and guest service programs Ensuring all sales, marketing and advertising communications are disseminated effectively to store management for implementation Build a team that embodies the Ulta Beauty's culture, delivering exceptional service and modeling on-brand, Ulta Beauty behaviors Coaching/counseling all store management with effective selling techniques to achieve Corporate and Field initiatives Leading district sales and expense planning Ensuring all district internal/external product training classes are communicated and implemented Ensuring that all store management and associates have been properly trained Developing the managerial and operational skill sets of store management Directing all district performance/compensation reviews are completed within established timeframes Leading change and innovation, ensuring all associates are brought effectively through the change curve Qualified candidates will be proven retail leaders who possess demonstrated experience in attracting, developing and motivating top talent in a dynamic, ever-changing environment-leading associates through the change curve and developing collaborative, winning relationships. Additional requirements include: 8+ years of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience) 6 years of retail management experience in a multi-unit environment Significant competency in sales, products and service Proven abilities to build strong, high-performing teams and to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and solid computer skills Travel required A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required Essential Functions: On a regular basis, requires the ability to walk On a regular basis, requires the ability to reach with hands and arms On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours On a regular basis, requires the ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
