We measure our success by the quality of our team. **THE ROLE** The Ecommerce Manager oversees the day-to-day maintenance of the VIOLET GREY's website. The role performs a range of web merchandising, marketing and web development activities to ensure [violetgrey.com](http://violetgrey.com) is truly reflecting the VIOLET GREY brand and adequately serves our customers. The Ecommerce Manager will have an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and User Experience (UX) best practices. This position requires a thorough understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and technology infrastructures. Previous experience with Farfetch Platform Services (FPS) is highly preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own the execution of the brand's expression on [violetgrey.com](http://violetgrey.com), including but not limited to product merchandising and editorial content. - Own and manage the backend updates for promotions and key activations. - Provide ongoing website analysis and recommendations for UX optimizations, A/B testing and product development initiatives. - Partner with Product Manager to create technology roadmap and release planning. Own the execution of UAT for site updates and product launches. - Manage SEO metadata and ensure content strategy follows best-practices. Cross-check and update metadata for go-live. Responsible for validating and approving recommendations on SEO strategy. - Monitor and report on website and brand level KPIs, including sales performance, site trends, and ROI from key activations to inform marketing and merchandising plans. - Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues. Log changes or new requests through JIRA Service Desk.

WHO YOU ARE

- 3-5 years of ecommerce experience - Knowledge of CMS, SEO and Merchandising best practices. Familiarity with Farfetch Platform Solutions (FPS) is highly preferred. - Experienced in implementing UX/UI optimization and A/B testing - Knowledge of and experience in business reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau and Excel - Previous experience working with developers, prioritizing tickets and release planning, and performing UAT. Familiarity with JIRA is a plus - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate website KPIs (Traffic, CVR, AOV, STR, etc) into actionable insights - Proactive, organized, solutions-oriented and able to work with a high level of autonomy - Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines while communicating with relevant stakeholders - Experience with beauty, fashion, luxury or wellness brands preferred

NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

- The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $85,000 a year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. - If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
