Merchandise Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Own the process of getting products live on site:
- Upload images and swatches for each product page; ensuring they are named accurately and in the correct order to align with site standard.
- Compile details from tech packs, send to copywriter and upload finalized copy for each product.
- Ensure similar products are associated to one another, when applicable.
- Set up Wear It With for each product before being published.
- Upload Editorial images to all applicable product pages.
- Upload international prices in various currencies.
- Understand start ship dates for deliveries and in warehouse dates for products and prioritize workload according to due dates.
- Review all emails and marketing to ensure featured product will be available by the feature date.
- Be the product expert; know which items have depth and/or key aspects.
- Ensure all samples are available and ready for photo shoots through Fashion GPS.
- Create and own the Final Shot List to be provided to creative and keep a running list of all products that are missing images.
- Review daily production style change and line updates:
- Keep a running list of changes and request samples to be reshot per updates.
- Notify the team of any product updates and ensure changes are accurately reflected on the website.
- Review recuts weekly and ensure any new product added to the buy is being shot/uploaded.
- Make suggestions on what to include in the Product Details section so we can provide the most relevant information to the customer.
- Set up products on Pre-Order as necessary and monitor to ensure dates are always accurate.
- Ensure key attributes are added to product pages as needed (i.e. Final Sale).
- Provide our partners in Asia with copy and images monthly.
- Ad hoc competitive analysis.
Desired Skills and Experience
- BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and eager to succeed.
- Adept at learning new systems and technologies.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office products, particularly in Excel.
