Levi Strauss & Company is accelerating its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) orientation and the DTC organization has become one of the pillars of our growth. In this context, we are looking for an experienced forward thinker to join us as Program Manager, Direct-To-Consumer(DTC) - IT focusing on eCommerce and Omni Channel initiatives. You will be driving the eCommerce and Omni Channel initiatives right from planning, estimating, staffing, executing and status reporting. You will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, scrum master focused on Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) initiatives globally.
- Manage (directly or through reporting project managers) assigned projects/initiatives through full-life cycle, from requirements definition through support stabilization
- Fosters and maintains Levi's Agile and PMO practices for project execution
- Leverages professional experiences to identify potential areas of improvement in project/Agile performance
- Manages geographically dispersed business teams, on-shore/off-shore development teams, and third-party vendors
- Roll up sleeves as necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet product owners expectations
- Understands the domain, knows the experts, asks the right questions to prioritize and perform necessary follow-up to resolve issues
- Provides management visibility into project status while executing effective decision-making, approvals, and direction
- Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while delivering the initiatives
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a technical discipline
- 8+ years of project management experience preferable in eCommerce, Omni Channel and Retail Domain
- 3+ years of working experience in Agile Methodology. Scrum or SAFe certifications preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional and global business and technical team to deliver projects
- Experience with end to end project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and to work well with people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence change outside of span of control and build stakeholder support
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to get results through formal channels and informal networking within a matrix project organization
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written skills
