DEPARTMENT: Creative Services

DIRECT REPORTS: Creative Ops Manager, Associate Stylist & Copy Writer
This role's responsibility is to ensure that the Alice + Olivia brand is properly presented and effectively communicated across all media channels. It requires the ability to collaborate. Must be able to interpret and communicate current trends. This role will be instrumental in crafting a creative and effective strategy that drives brand affinity and grows the A+O community. This position brings the lifestyle and design vision for each collection to life for our clients.
- Develop working relationship with founder
- Establish Cross Channel Content Calendar
- Generate compelling editorial content
Brand Strategy
- Develop and ensure a consistent brand voice
- Establish, implement, and maintain consistent editorial standards
- Support and collaborate on the overall content marketing strategy, ensuring alignment across channels, initiatives, and performance metrics
- Use insights from the performance marketing team to inform strategy and execution
- Must be able to express brand aesthetics and qualities in all social and brand media
- Establish and maintain Cross Channel Content Calendar
- Must collaborate with Creative, Marketing and the Sales Channels to coordinate, manage and execute the Content Calendar
- Oversee all content both written and video across all channels and ensure we stay within budget on content creation
- Work with the Merchandising, E-Commerce and the Digital Marketing teams to create compelling product descriptions and stories with copy that optimizes our presence in search and social media
- Stay ahead of the curve on trends and culture and evolve others' understanding of social media
- Direct responsibility for all copy writing
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners while managing work-streams
- Must have a collaborative style

- 7+ years of experience in content creation (publishing, journalism, branded content), digital-first experience is a must, retail fashion experience is preferred
- Expertise in copy for brand marketing, social, and performance marketing channels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects
- Exceptional writing, fact-checking, and attention to detail required
- Impeccable project management, organization & communication skills
- Experience working in a startup and/or Founder lead organization
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field
