Job description

Title: Email Marketing + CRM Manager
Company Description: startup lifestyle beauty brand
Location: New York, NY

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with the VP of Marketing to create an email marketing strategy focused on both growth and retention.
- Responsible for retention campaigns, from conceptualization through to analysis. This includes idea generation, proposal preparation, overseeing the production process and overseeing execution.
- Manage email marketing coordinator, email coder and oversee the deployment of all emails, SMS messages and push notification campaigns.
- Own the email marketing calendar for all brands.
- Lead creative development and technical implementation of all transactional and triggered emails.
- Manage daily execution of emails from creating briefs on JIRA, creative reviews, list and campaign set up in Iterable, QA, and scheduling.
- Manage HTML coder and ensure every email campaign is executed properly.
- Create and present email results & insights on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Create testing framework to optimize engagement and conversions from emails.
- Partner with internal tech teams to build new functionality and triggers and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Act as point of contact for cross functional partners on email.

Position Requirements:

- Complete Bachelor’s degree.
- Needs to have very strong project management skills to be able to manage all the email creative requests.
- Experience working with e-commerce, subscriptions, beauty, or fashion is preferred.
- Experience with email campaign management tools (ESP’s) required.
- Cross-channel marketing experience (SMS, Push, In-App, etc.) required.
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated through past work.
- Results driven, ability to multitask in fast paced cross-functional environment.
