Job description

The company's corporate financial planning and analysis group serves as the critical support partner for the executive leadership team. The team is responsible for the development and/or analysis of all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the company's brands and businesses that span the globe. The Manager, Enterprise FP&A will serve as a key member of the team, with high visibility to senior leadership. The primary responsibilities are to support the Director, Enterprise FP&A and all members of the Corporate FP&A team in the development of the annual budget, strategic plan, and monthly forecasts,. In order to succeed, this individual will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill-sets to maintain current reporting and analytics.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Develop an understanding of company and business unit objectives, both financial and strategic, and a keen insight into VF's current and future business.
  • Provide financial and decision-support analytics to Senior Leadership team to support key business initiatives and decisions.
  • Play a vital role in VF Corporation's strategic and annual financial plan across all brands, channels and geographies.
  • Support the corporate forecasting and budgeting processes across all brands, channels, and geographies. Support analytics of VF Corporation's actual and projected income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement on a monthly basis.
  • Support and analyze monthly forecasts, strategic plan and annual plan information with the Tax and Treasury teams.
  • Support the monthly financial reviews with regional and brand finance management and develop the related financial presentation for VF Corporation's Senior Leadership Team which includes a global view of opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare presentations for executive leadership teams, Board of Directors, and Investor Relations.
  • Participate in providing financial analysis to the M&A and Investor Relation Teams, including presentations to the Board of Directors.
  • Work with Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with all policies, financial reporting practices and that internal controls exists throughout the organization which are SOX compliant.
  • Develop financial and operational models and performance metrics comparing VF Corporation to a group of peer companies and the industry in which it operates.
  • Support the Corporate FP&A team with key strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests through data gathering, analytics and putting together a business case for review by Senior Management.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 6+

Educational/Position Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. MBA, CFA or CPA is a plus.
  • Strong financial background; exceptional analytical and modeling skills.
  • 3+ years of financial management experience with thorough understanding of Corporate Finance or FP&A, Investment Banking or equity research.
  • Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing and operation systems and processes.
  • Fortune 500 publicly traded company experience in a matrix organization strongly preferred.
Skills:

  • Strong Interpersonal capabilities with ability to effectively work across functions/brands and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Solid PC and systems capabilities
  • Financial and performance analysis experience & strong financial skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling skills, especially income statement and cash flow analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to work closely with the Finance and Operations staffs while driving a results-oriented culture and an atmosphere of accountability
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment & to be a team player
  • Highly organized & achievement-oriented
  • Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and Internal Controls
TRAVEL (%): Up to 20% of the time on an as needed basis

Pay Range:

$81,600.00 USD - $122,400.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential:

This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
