Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Supply Chain Finance Manager to join the Global Business Planning team. This person will play a key role in helping Converse build, execute, and manage strategies & business plans that drive profitable, sustainable, and capital efficient growth. This person will perform structured as well as ad hoc financial analyses and deliver insights that support decision-making to deliver an efficient, consumer focused, and responsive digital first supply chain. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses superior Excel skills, is innovative in nature, and has a strong desire to learn and lead change across the business. .
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes related to Supply Chain costs including transportation, customs, and distribution centers
- Lead monthly performance reporting over financial KPI's in order to drive actionable insights in partnership with the Operations Leadership Team
- Provide variances between budgeted financials and actuals on a monthly basis and work in collaboration with Operations to develop proposals and execute cost reduction programs
- Lead in the conceptualization and development of new analytical approaches and processes to improve the understanding of key cost drivers and improved operational performance
- Drive long-term financial planning of supply chain expenses in partnership with Operations leadership as we build out our Supply Chain of the future
- Assist with new business case development and investment governance, and track ongoing investments pertaining to new Supply Chain initiatives
- Represent Finance in cross functional meetings and key forums and alert team to any changes that will affect group and/or company financial forecasts
- Act as a thought partner to the operations leadership team to define what cost excellence looks like for Global Operations
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Finance Director in Global Business Planning and collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Controlling, and Strategy to successfully execute deliverables. In addition, there is also a high level of exposure to Senior Leadership.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Accounting or Budgeting at a Fortune 500 company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to wide and diverse audiences, including Senior Leadership
- Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Attention to detail in the development of management-quality reporting and analytics for Senior Leadership
- Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Balance multiple, results-oriented priorities and maintain strong organization skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
