Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Finance Manager, Nike Global Technology to join the Global Nike Global Finance Central team. This position is responsible for partnering across our Technology Finance, Global Operations & Technology Finance, and Controlling teams to lead In-Year Performance Management including the forecasting and reporting process for Nike Global Tech's financial portfolio driving timely and insightful financial analysis that helps our business partners deliver against their operating strategies. This position will also be the primary owner of monthly financial consolidation processes for actual financial results, and forecasts while driving continuous operational improvement of Nike Tech's finance processes and tools.
The Finance Manager will have the opportunity to build critical processes, frameworks, and capabilities from the ground up. This candidate needs to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and committed to being successful.
What you will work on
- Provide VP of Finance, Nike Global Tech, Sr. Director of Nike Tech Finance and Planning, Director of Finance, and Nike Tech leadership team insight into Nike Tech spend, enabling informed portfolio decisions with insights
- Drive monthly financial analysis within the forecasting/reporting process that identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to help our business partners deliver against their operating strategies
- Lead the monthly consolidation and analysis of Nike Technology's monthly financial results and forecast including maintaining complex financial models and communicating deliverables and timelines to include operating expense, capital expenditures, and cash flow
- Liaison with teams to act as central point of contact for Nike Global Tech-level finance questions
- Troubleshoot and provide standard methodologies around Nike financial systems for teams; lead financial system and associated operational improvements and maintenance
- Create and iterate central standardized processes, tools, and templates to drive efficiencies, consistencies, and insightful analysis
- Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teammates to ensure alignment with finance and the business (including Strategy, HR, Controlling, Technology Leaders, Nike Tech Finance Managers, GOT Finance, SG&A Governance, and Global Business Planning)
- Create the monthly business review presentation for Nike Global Technology
- Lead the forecast and budget of the Administrative Domain including topside adjustments to handle the overall projections for Nike Technology
- Maintain and communicate the Nike Tech Finance calendar of deliverables for close, forecasts, and reporting requirements to meet deadlines.
- Supervise the work of a contractor resource to maintain and improve Nike Tech finance processes and tools
- Develop ad-hoc analytics as needed, including forecast accuracy and trend analysis
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with a broad set of team members and partner cross-functionally within Global Technology Finance, GOT Finance, and Controlling Teams to successfully implement deliverables. In addition, there is a high level of exposure to Senior Leadership.


What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training. MBA or advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, or Accounting at a Fortune 500 company
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working for an Omni-channel Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods organization preferred
- Experience with SAP, Tableau, and strong familiarity with financial systems is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to wide and diverse audiences, including Senior Leadership
- Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for senior management
- Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with the ability to lead through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
