Job description

Who we are looking for
As an Operations Manager within the Global Marketplace Operations (MPO) team, you always start with the consumer in mind. You are an important leader as we shape Nike's Marketplace Partners operations and services strategy to create a seamless consumer experience for members while driving mutual profitability, increased speed to market, and minimizing environmental impact.
Your role is to drive strategy development and deployment to synchronize Nike and partner supply chains. You understand the day-to-day supply chain and business operations with Marketplace Partners and will partner across Geographies to lead, develop, and improve processes to support our marketplaces and consumers.
You have a deep understanding of marketplace supply chain and seek to use that knowledge to build our Connected Partner supply chain vision, leveraging Nike and Partner needs to inform and develop a world-class omni channel vision. You engage in key projects evolving existing business capabilities while also helping to create new innovative capabilities to the marketplace to drive speed, inventory flexibility, efficiency, and scale. You partner with our Geography MPO teams, Product Management teams, and cross functionally to keep your business partners informed on global capability roadmaps as we work to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions.

What you will work on
In this role you will partner with Geography MPO teams, Product Management, and cross-functionally at the Global level to ensure proactive operational plans while developing capabilities, processes and policies that serve our Geography teammates. You will identify and elevate key MPO capabilities to support Connected Partners with a focus on Strategic Partner Accounts. You will drive and improve processes to serve the marketplace through the identification of critical gaps and development of solutions. You will represent MPO across internal partners within a matrix environment, sharing scenarios and solutions to risks/opportunities from a supply chain perspective.
You will demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross functional peers in professional discussions and often complex decisions to optimize fulfillment. You will inspire a diverse, inclusive and engaged team connected across Geographies and business units to Win as One, Win Together. You will work alongside your teammates to ensure reliability and visibility, always with the consumer mentality, in collaboration with key cross- functional partners.
Who you will work with
Key partners will include the Global and Geography MPO teams as we drive to enhance and develop processes and capabilities for the future. Our MPO Product Management team will be a key partner, working closely with technology teams to ensure that we are designing efficient and aligned technical solutions based on the business requirements and priorities you help define. Cross functionally you will partner with Connected Marketplace, Logistics, Sustainability, and Planning.

Profile

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other related subject area
- Proven experience in supply chain operations or omni channel fulfillment and a passion for operations
- Process and operational responsibility in Supply Chain, Project Management, and Process Improvement.
- Experience influencing others and communicating effectively cross functionally and for all levels of the organization to drive best in class service
- Experience leading Performance Management and fulfillment metrics with relevant insights.
- Strong analytical skills which support a result driven approach delivering operational excellence
- Innovative mentality and proven track record in leading and delivering process improvement
- Strong service focus and a proactive demeanor
- Self-starter/ability to work efficiently both in groups and independently
- Flexibility/ability to work in ambiguous environment
- Digital literacy: MS office, advanced Excel, SAP, Cognos, and Tableau
