The Human Resource Generalist will provide support to the Corporate Human Resource Business Partner team. The Human Resource Generalist will be part of a team working together on many different initiatives such as recognition, action planning on culture themes, performance management, succession planning etc. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of human resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. The HR Generalist will be expected to understand HR policies/procedures and benefit plans in order to provide support to associates and managers with questions. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions) Identify process improvements and or absent processes and develops processes and steps Partner with Director to improve employee communications and to create content to support business units Town Hall or communication channels Provide performance management guidance to managers and partner with managers regarding employee relations issues Provide support to the Director in the area of staffing, turnover and retention analysis, compliance tracking and the annual policy review process Maintain department org charts that support talent calibration and succession planning Assists in preparing content for leadership develop, assimilations, teambuilding, and/or relevant trainings Partner with Director to create a strong corporate culture and action plans for pulse surveys Work within our the HRIS System (SuccessFactors/SAP) Perform various other HR duties as assigned in support of the HR Department and corporate initiatives Assist with the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance improvement plans, individual goals, and objectives. Partners with all HR internal teams from compensations/benefits, HRIS, HR Service Center, communication, talent acquisition, associate relations, talent management and training Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource strategies including but not limited to - compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, and training and development. Provides guidance and support on day-to-day general employee relations issues and special HR projects. 3 years HR related work experience Understanding of HR concepts, policies and procedures. Able to troubleshoot issues or make decisions independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision - and at the same time use good judgment on when to escalate issues. Proven experience in a role requiring a high degree of organizational skill and a strong sense of urgency; able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexible, able to deal with ambiguity and change direction quickly. Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment Proficiency with MS Office products with an emphasis in Excel and Power Point Proven attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines Experience reporting, analyzing, interpreting, and critical thinking Ability to communicate confidently with all levels of management Professional maturity to handle confidential information. Profile
