Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our new HR Manager will provide HR expertise across Global Procurement and Sustainability, enhancing organizational effectiveness and integrating program and practices across teams in Nike World Headquarters as well as teams in our Geographies. We are a dynamic HR team who play a vital role in leading and helping with strategic initiatives, daily operations, team support, and coaching to managers and employees. Coordinating a full spectrum of HR programs and services, we build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals across the Global Procurement and Sustainability teams. Using strong written, spoken and interpersonal skills, we demonstrate the desire to train and educate others. We are looking for an individual who is results driven, has the ability to influence senior leaders as well as work with ambiguity and minimal direction.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You'll partner across Global Procurement and Sustainability to capture employee and marketplace insights, data and trends which you will use to oversee solutions and actions that will drive organizational health, engagement and achievement of strategic objectives. You will apply a variety of methods to ensure you have a strong presence across HR and within the business that yields an "insiders" pulse on strengths and opportunities and will work to drive action plans that produce targeted results.
You'll also operate as a point of escalation through partnership with HR Direct, Operations, and Employee Relations.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
We are all in this together! You'll sit on the Global Operations & Technology / Corporate Function HR team and report directly to the Sr. HRBP, Global Procurement & Sustainability. You will partner closely with Global Procurement and Sustainability leadership teams and members of their teams. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in Finance, Communications as well as other HR COE teams to provide effective support to the business.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
- 5 years' relevant Human Resources work experience.
- Support multiple business partners with competing priorities and keep a high level of service.
- Proven ability to calmly, confidently, and confidentially engage with management and multiple key partners to address opportunities and needs, as appropriate.
- Exposure/experience in areas of organizational effectiveness, change management, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training and development, HR program management.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement HR programs and plans that are aligned with overall business and HR strategy.
- Exercise a high degree of professionalism and communication with confidential information.
- Strong process and project management skills, and able to translate vision into action.
- Strong result and detail orientation.
Preferred:
- Previous business-facing HR Generalist and/or HRBP experience.
